He graduated from the Novosibirsk State Medical Institute in 1984 with a degree in "medical business". He later specialized in surgery and oncology.
In February-March 1994, he completed an internship at the University of Hiroshima (Japan) in the treatment of patients with malignant thyroid tumors caused by radiation. In January 1996, he received medical training on the treatment of thyroid cancer under the European Tacis program (Obninsk, Russia).
In October 2004, he participated in a training course on pathology thyroid gland for endocrinologists, prepared by experts of the European Thyroid Association (Kyiv, Ukraine).
Is a full member of the European Association of Endocrine Surgeons.
Research of pathogenesis, methods of diagnosis and treatment of diseases of the thyroid gland, thyroid gland, gonads, adrenal glands, pancreas, pituitary gland, problems of endovascular surgery, microsurgery, transplantology.
