Eight seriously injured patients to undergo full recovery course after mine and blast injuries
Raiffeisen Bank has allocated UAH 1,000,000 in charitable assistance to the Oberig clinic for the treatment and rehabilitation of Ukrainians who have received severe mine and blast injuries as a result of hostilities. Thanks to these funds, eight patients will undergo a full recovery course.
This assistance is part of Raiffeisen Bank’s long-term partnership with the Oberig clinic, which has been ongoing since 2023. During this period, the bank has transferred UAH 11 million for medical assistance, which has allowed more than 80 patients to receive quality treatment and return to a full life.
Back in the summer of 2022, the Oberig clinic launched a program to treat war victims — then the medical institution independently, at its own expense, took responsibility for helping such patients. Since then, the program has been operating continuously and saves lives every day.
The Oberig Clinic is one of the flagships of evidence-based medicine in Ukraine. Multidisciplinary teams of doctors work here. With the commissioning of a new innovative building in the summer of 2020, the clinic provides a full range of medical services to patients with cancer, performs high-tech surgical interventions, including liver and kidney transplantation. It was in Oberig that the Stroke Center project was implemented for the first time in Ukraine according to European standards.
Support for such projects became possible thanks to the bank's systematic humanitarian activities. In 2025, Raiffeisen Bank was recognized as the largest humanitarian donor among Ukrainian banks for the third time in a row, and the total amount of assistance to the population and the country reached 1.7 billion hryvnias.
We believe that caring for people is what keeps us together as a country. And we cannot afford to forget about it. We can help. We can change lives for the better. And Raiff does this every day - together with Ukraine.
