Treatment of kidney failure by kidney transplantation

Chronic renal failure (CKD) is an irreversible impairment of the filtering and excretory functions of the kidneys up to the point of complete cessation of functioning due to the death of kidney tissue. Renal failure is a condition in which the kidneys are unable to perform their main function of cleaning the blood from metabolic products. When the kidneys are critically unable to filter the blood, the body is doomed to death.
