- Після закінчення Львівського державного медичного університету імені Данила Галицького, спеціальність «Лікувальна справа» у 2001 році присвятив себе військовій медицині, а саме військовій хірургії. Спочатку було навчання в Українській військово-медичній академії (з 2001 по 2004 роки), після закінчення якої військова служба на посаді лікаря-хірурга в військовому госпіталі в смт. Десна, Чернігівської обл., а пізніше (через рік) – військова служба у Військово-медичному управлінні СБ України.
- Під час проходження служби виявив бажання зайнятись спеціалізованим напрямком хірургії, а саме лікуванням захворювань прямої та товстої кишки – для цього пройшов навчання за спеціальністю «Проктологія» у Національній медичній академії післядипломної освіти імені П.Л. Шупика МОЗ України.
- Паралельно вирішив зайнятись науковою роботою, саме тому став заочним аспірантом кафедри хірургії №1 Національного медичного університету імені О.О. Богомольця, результатом чого стало написання та захист кандидатської дисертації на тему хірургічного лікування поліпів прямої кишки.
- Саме навчання в Українській військово-медичній академії та в заочній аспірантурі Національного медичного університету імені О.О. Богомольця стали основними мотивуючими чинниками у формуванні мене як лікаря.
The main professional interests are minimally invasive, minimally traumatic treatment of patients with a proctological profile. I specialize in the so-called "small proctology": treatment of hemorrhoids, fissures of the anal canal, pilonidal disease, purulent-inflammatory diseases of the pararectal area, inflammatory diseases of the colon and benign neoplasms of the rectum and anal canal. In recent years, I have been actively gaining experience in oncoproctology.
In my work, I try to find the most effective and optimal way of diagnosing and treating patients. I pay special attention to methods of early diagnosis of colorectal cancer and precancerous diseases. Approaches to treatment must be pathogenetically justified and balanced, and their effectiveness has been proven by international standards and protocols.
For me, medicine, and surgery in particular, is a clear calling of both the mind and the heart. Over 29 years in the profession, I have remained convinced that the operating room is a place where peak concentration and professional passion meet the profound responsibility for a human life. As Head of the Surgical Department, I base my work on the principles of high expertise and genuine humanity. Proctology is a delicate field; therefore, my priority is not only a technically flawless procedure but also building a foundation of trust so that patients feel supported throughout their recovery. This is a profession that demands your all, and it is in this service to others that I find my truest inspiration.
