Rectosigmoscopy: preparation

Use one of the enemas: Normacol, Enema.

Apply rectally. The patient should lie on the left side, the knees should be bent.

Remove the protective cap, carefully insert the tip into the anus and squeeze the contents of the vial until the fluid drains from it. If resistance occurs, stop using the enema. Forced enema may result in injury.

After the enema is administered, the patient should maintain a supine or sideways position until he needs to defecate.

1 enema in the evening and 1 enema in the morning on the day of the examination 2 hours before the examination.
