Education and experience

In 2016 I graduated from the O.O. Bogomolets National Medical University with a specialization in Pediatrics, completed an internship at the NMU, and in 2018 received a specialist certificate. After the internship, I worked as a doctor at an emergency care station for children in Kyiv.

In parallel, I practiced at the reception department of the Regional Clinical Hospital No. 5, later my practical work continued at the Central Primary Health Care Center as a primary care doctor. Currently, I continue to work in the specialization of pediatrics, but my interest in pediatric gastroenterology inspired me to complete a specialization at the P.L. Shupik National Medical University of Ukraine in 2022 and continue my professional activities as a pediatric gastroenterologist.

Since 2024, I have been working as a pediatric gastroenterologist at the Oberig clinic. I have an active life position and hold the position of curator of the scientific community "Pediatricians' Club" (since 2024)

Professional interests

The scope of professional interests includes all diseases of the gastrointestinal tract in children, including functional disorders, acute and chronic diseases of the stomach, intestines, liver, pancreas, digestive disorders, intestinal infections. I am excellent at methods of collecting anamnesis, complaints, physical examination and evaluation of laboratory and instrumental research results, I easily establish contact with children of any age and their parents.

I am a certified breastfeeding specialist and help parents with healthy nutrition of the baby. In addition, I advise parents on vaccinations and development of the baby at different age periods - from 0 to 18 years.

In my work, I am guided by the principles of evidence-based medicine, apply modern knowledge and treatment methods, the effectiveness and safety of which have been proven by scientific research and comply with national / international protocols and standards.

Why medicine

My interest in medicine was initially a childhood hobby: I liked to "treat" and care for pets. My passion was supported by my parents, and as a child I had a whole bunch of various toy medical supplies: stethoscopes, syringes, bandages, thermometers, trays, scissors, scalpels... I liked to put on a white coat and imagine that I was a doctor who saves the sick and makes them recover.

During my school years, when my classmates were thinking about choosing a profession, such a question did not arise for me - I clearly realized that my calling was to be a doctor. After graduating from school and successfully passing the external examination, I applied to 5 higher medical institutions at once, and after passing the selection, I chose Bogomolets National Medical University for my studies.

Studying at a medical university is, of course, a difficult and difficult job, but a diploma of higher medical education is definitely worth the sleepless nights. Despite all the difficulties of student life, these were interesting, eventful years when fundamental knowledge was acquired. I paid special attention to issues of human pathophysiology, I was fascinated by the analysis of natural processes during my studies at clinical departments.

Thinking about the question of why medicine became my calling, I find the answer in my heart: I like the happy laughter of children, their smiles, joyful parents when the child is healthy. I like to bring a positive result and feel that my work is important and responsible. I easily manage to find a common language with children and their parents, and often parents trust me to consult all children in the family - from teenagers to newborns.
