Chyrkov Yurii

I studied at the Donetsk State Medical Institute. Gorky (1982-1988). He defended his dissertation for the degree of Ph.D. on the topic "Percutaneous biopsy of the kidneys under ultrasound control in nephropathies in children".

From 1988 to 1993 I worked as a general surgeon in the surgery department of the CMCL №6 in Donetsk. From 1993 to 2014 - a doctor in the Department of Surgery (interventional ultrasound) of the Diagnostic Center of the Donetsk Regional Clinical Territorial Medical Association (DOKTMO). Every year I performed about 800 diagnostic and therapeutic interventions under the control of ultrasound and CT on various organs - thyroid gland, liver, kidneys, pancreas, lungs and others. Thanks to 21 years of work at the Center, he has gained a unique experience in solving extremely complex medical problems.

I have two specializations: surgeon of the highest category and doctor of ultrasound diagnostics. Member of the European Association of Pancreatologists, Ukrainian Pancreatology Club, Ukrainian Doppler Club. Author of 2 inventions, 70 printed works, executive secretary of the journal "Radiation Diagnostics. Radiation therapy. ”

My professional interests include interventional nonvascular (ie, nonvascular) radiology (diagnostic biopsies and minimally invasive medical interventions under the control of ultrasound or computed tomography), expert ultrasound diagnostics, thyroid pathology.

I have two children, a son and a daughter. My wife is also a doctor. My daughter decided to become our follower - she is studying at a medical university. Therefore, I can consider myself the founder of the future dynasty of doctors.
