Graduated from Kyiv Medical Institute named after O.O. Bogomolets in 1986. Received the specialization "physician-anesthesiologist-reanimatologist". In 1989, he completed an internship in the specialty "anesthesiology and intensive care" at the Belvedere Clinic, Paris, France. In 2000, he defended his PhD thesis in anesthesiology; I am currently working on my doctorate.
EXPERIENCE
For 33 years, I worked in the department of anesthesiology and intensive care of the National Institute of Surgery and Transplantation named after O. O. Shalimov. For 17 years, he was the head of the intensive care unit of the Shalimov Institute.
He also worked in private clinics of aesthetic and plastic surgery in Kyiv.
Since 2004, I have annually participated in the European specialized congresses of ESICM, ESPEN and Evroanestesia.
In In 1997, he was a fellow surgeon on an internship in Paris - with the chief plastic surgeon of France, Daniel Marshak.
Anesthesiology support for operations of the highest category of complexity (in particular, organ transplants).
Intensive therapy and resuscitation in critical life disorders (multi-organ, respiratory, cardiac, hepatic, renal insufficiency).
Management of patients with severe neurological pathologies (strokes, cerebral comas).
Emergency care and intensive therapy for acute poisoning.
Risk management and patient safety in the perioperative period and intensive care unit.
Моя спеціальність знаходиться на перетині глибоких медичних знань, точних технологій та щирого співчуття до людини. В інтенсивній терапії ми часто зустрічаємося з пацієнтами в найважчі моменти їхнього життя. І для мене немає більшої професійної мотивації, ніж бачити, як людина, яка ще вчора перебувала в критичному стані, сьогодні приходить до тями, починає дихати самостійно і повертається до своїх близьких. Це складна, виснажлива, але надзвичайно чесна професія, де щохвилини ти бачиш реальний результат своєї роботи і роботи своєї команди. Я обрав цей шлях майже 4 десятиліття тому, бо мене завжди приваблювала динаміка та необхідність знаходити рішення у найскладніших клінічних випадках. Сьогодні, очолюючи відділення клініки Оберіг, де проходять лікування пацієнти з поліорганною недостатністю, інсультами та ті, хто потребує високотехнологічних операцій, я бачу медицину як складну, але ідеально налаштовану систему. Мене надихає те, що сучасні медичні технології та доказові стандарти дозволяють нам не просто підтримувати життєдіяльність, а давати пацієнтам шанс на повноцінне відновлення після найважчих станів. Це робота, яка не дозволяє зупинятися в розвитку жодного дня.
