She graduated with honors from Kyiv Medical Institute. O.O. Bogomolets, majoring in pediatrics in 1983. In 1992 she defended her PhD thesis in neonatology, and in 2009 - her doctoral dissertation on congenital immunodeficiency in children.

She did an internship at the University of Alberta, Canada (1997). Topics of internship - children's infectious diseases and immunology. In 1999 she did an internship at the University of Tel Aviv (Israel) in childhood infectious diseases, and also did an internship at the University of Graz (Austria) in 2000.

UNICEF Certified Trainer on Immunoprophylaxis of Infectious Diseases (2000), HIV Prevention in Children (2000).

Main areas of clinical activity: frequently ill children, vaccination, congenital and acquired immunodeficiencies, childhood infectious diseases, including HIV in children, TORCH infections, immunodeficiency-associated infections.
