Carcinoids of the stomach, small and large intestines

The article presents literature data on clinical and morphological features of carcinoids, the principles of their classification, diagnostic methods. It is shown that the predominant localization of both the gastrointestinal tract and the complexity of the diagnosis of gastric and intestinal carcinoids determines the urgency of the problem. Own data of the analysis of diagnosis and treatment of gastric and intestinal carcinoids are presented.
