Stroke is a condition in which a blockage of a vessel damages or kills a part of the brain. And if in the first hours after a stroke it is a question of emergency care and preservation of life, then the following task is restoration of the lost functions (walking, sensitivity of extremities, balance, speech, etc.).
The big mistake is to postpone the start of rehabilitation after a stroke. This can make it difficult or impossible for a person to recover.
