Enema drugs Normacol or Norgalax (they are over-the-counter and available in any pharmacy) - once in the morning on the day of examination after morning defecation (use according to instructions), but not later than 2 hours before the ultrasound. If you have a doctor's referral, you should take it with you. If the doctor prescribes a blood test for prostate-specific antigen - it must be performed before the ultrasound examination or not earlier than two weeks after it.
